Photographer for several years, Kim Frederick is the result of the union of a Vietnamese mother and a French father. He is an attentive observer of the poetry of cities. Paris in the first place, where he finds in the striking contrast between the beautiful buildings and the nature surrounding. “Looking at the sky and the earth, seeing the sky in the earth, buildings that drown in it and reflect”. This is the kind of exchange he wants to capture in his photographs.
This is a monograph exhibition that presents Kim Frederick’s work over the past two years through a selection of photos taken between sky and earth in Paris and New York.
It takes place in one of those charming Parisian passages that the 19th century was fond of, the passage duPonceau, which is located in the second arrondissement of Paris.
